Tishema K. Georges, Gospel singer and songwriter who believes her praise is one of her weapons of faith. Originally from the beautiful island of St. Kitts, she migrated to the United States and from there was drawn to the love of God and the Salvation of Christ in 1999. Born from a family of writers, musicians and artists, Tishema could not run away from her musical heritage.

Biography

Tishema was lead to Jesus People Church International in 2000, where she has been faithfully serving on the Praise Team for over 17 years. It was through this avenue her musical talents began to manifest and opportunities were given to lead a few praise and worship songs, and she was also given the chance to sing background vocals behind well known artists such as Israel Houghton, Jason Nelson, LaRue Howard, Bryan Popin, Jekalyn Carr and Javen Campbell. Tishema in 2019 had the privilege of writing the lyrics to JPMCI's latest welcome song, which was utilized on a regular basis and then revised in 2023. She is now moving into singing her own written songs, as well as moving forward into a gospel music career.
